Work plays a central role in the life of humans.

Through occupation and work, human beings define themselves and their position in society.

Creating jobs and work places as well as integrating disabled people into a life of work is of utmost importance.

What we aim to achieve…

Every human being has special needs, abilities and ideas

With this as our starting point,

... we create support and the pre-conditions for entering  occupational life (in close collaboration with the project Sprungbrett)

... we offer opportunities for being able to act creatively and for self-realization within the framework of workshop therapy.

... we foster the individual's specific strengths.

... we see ourselves as companions and advocates of our clients.

... we aim to make the notions of integration, normalization, self-determination come true.

For whom?

The Deutschlandsberg target group:

  • persons of either sex with a light to severe mental disability and
  • persons with a light to medium physical disability, for whom no training, apprenticeship or work place are currently available.

At the Deutschlandsberg Workshop, a maximum of 22 clients can be taken care of.

Our competence

The client is the focus of our actions.

The opportunities we offer are tuned to a promotional diagnosis-type of planning, which means that the development stage and individual abilities and skills become the starting point of the pedagogical work in each case. The accompaniment of the clients comprises all areas of life and development and is examined and developed further in cooperation with the client.

With regard to existing competences, care is offered in the following areas:

  • vocational training/hands-on instruction
  • occupational integration (in close collaboration with the project Sprungbrett
  • workshop therapy
