What we aim to achieve…

Goals of Interdisciplinary Early Intervention, Family Guidance:

Advancing the development of the child under special consideration of the individual development stage from a holistic point of view. 

  • Cooperation with the family and with the child's environment. 
  • Integration 
  • Interdisciplinary work 

Tasks resulting from the above-mentioned goals:

  • Determination of development retardation and behaviour observation 
  • Regular promotion work in the family

    • In many cases more pronounced educational difficulties can be warded off through early promotion and learning 
  • Preparation for kindergarten and for school. We also offer assistance in finding a suitable kindergarten vacancy, a fitting integration group or school. 
  • Through the cooperation between parents and professional staff, the child is to be accorded the best possible support for his/her development.

Our competence

Mosaik runs two Early Intervation Points, one in Graz and one in Deutschlandsberg.
  • We are mobile - at either place we have an Early Promotion and Learning Attendant coming into your home, your child's familiar environment 
  • We take into account the family situation which the child is in. 
  • We come to your family home once or twice a week for 1½ hours, advising you and working out promotion and learning possibilities together with you. 
  • We help you coming to terms with your personal questions concerning the handicap, development retardation or maladjustment of your child.
