For Whom?
MIRABILIS® offers leisure amenities for those with a special need -
or plainly for all those who want to enjoy the wonderland of senses.
Some group rooms have been adapted so as to appeal to individual sensorial
channels of those who visit them. Each visitor is given an opportunity
to open up as conforms with his or her innate abilities, or simply to relax
or have a good time.
MIRABILIS® is a place to experience and enjoy. There is much to
explore and there is also the possibility to withdraw for those who are
getting too involved. 
Our competence
Activity room:
The ball bath enables tactile stimuli and allows the body to take any
practicable position. Each and every bodily sense is excited and trained
(coordination, balance, bodily sensation).
The Big Boom or bass slot drum instigates playful motion.
Rest room:
With light, noises, a water bed, various materials for watching, groping,
feeling and snugging up, a cosy atmosphere is created.
Prenatal room:
A musical water bed offers relaxation and the chance to get musical
basal stimulation for those with a very severe handicap. The slightest
movement is enough for the water to rock. The music and the noises can
be felt through the vibrations.
Light/Darkness room:
This room is especially suited to promote perception, because here is
an atmosphere that is nearly stimulation-free and free from deflection.
A cheerful excitement makes itself felt at the very moment of stepping
into the room.
Water World:
In this specially adapted room a basal promotional care comes full cycle
for children and attendants. Playing with water is really enjoyable, additionally,
massage, for instance in the whirlpool, gives a pleasant bodily feeling.
The Hall:
The corridor is furnished with different tactile elements, which invite
the passers-by to touch them and thus impart a wealth of stimuli. An undamped
water bed at the end of the passageway is a sheer invitation to linger
and relish in it.
Each visitor can feel well here and is instigated to gain experience.
What our experience shows is that here visitors are taught how to relax
and as a consequence, extend their concentration phases, they have a playful
attitude with many variants. They are less aggressive, they experiment
more and they can have a real good laugh.
Visitors are on principle accompanied by a person they are familiar
with, and they are free to play in whatever way they want to. But there
are facilities that correspond to the abilities of the individual user.
Learning is a by-product of the voluntary, playful, enjoyable activity
or non-activity of the MIRABILIS® visitor - at his/her own sole choice.
